Upon arrival in Florence, we will have a city tour. In the capital of the Renaissance and the homeland of Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which is immediately striking with its orange dome, an architectural wonder and the fourth largest church in Europe, from outside. One of the most remarkable features of the cathedral is the bronze door, often referred to as the “Gates of Paradise,” which depicts stories from the lives of prophets mentioned in the Quran.
