ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE – ROME
We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete ticketing, baggage check-in, and passport procedures. We will fly to Bologna at 10:40 AM with Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight PC1217. We arrive in Bologna at 11:20 AM local time, after which we head to Florence with our private bus waiting for us. Upon arrival in Florence, we will have a city tour. In the capital of the Renaissance and the homeland of Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which is immediately striking with its orange dome, an architectural wonder and the fourth largest church in Europe, from outside. One of the most remarkable features of the cathedral is the bronze door, often referred to as the “Gates of Paradise,” which depicts stories from the lives of prophets mentioned in the Quran. Later, we will visit Giotto's Bell Tower, once used to summon the public to parliament, the Signoria Square, which has been the political and social center of Florence for centuries and is home to Michelangelo's famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), famous for its antique and jewelry shops. After the Florence city tour, we depart for our hotel in the Rome region. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time to relax.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests wishing to join an optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro) can participate. Our first visit point will be Nemi, known for its mountain strawberries and hosting the strawberry festival every year. After a tour of Nemi, which combines narrow streets leading to the squares with the charming lake and valley views filled with the scent of strawberries, we will begin our historical journey in Rome, known as Urbs aput mundi or "the city at the center of the world." With its unique architecture spanning from ancient times to the Renaissance, Rome attracts thousands of tourists every season. The architectural masterpieces created by competing architects can accommodate the crowd that Rome draws without overwhelming its visitors with its beauty and aesthetics. In our tour of Rome, we will see the ancient Colosseum, which has become the symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights during the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, which served as the ceremonial center during the imperial era; the Trevi Fountain, where legend has it that throwing a coin ensures your return to Rome; the famous Spanish Steps, and Piazza Pietra, Piazza Popolo as panoramic sites of interest. After the tour, we will have free time in the city center around the Pantheon. During this free time, guests wishing to join the optional Vatican and Rome Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro) can participate. Our tour will start by visiting Castel San’t Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Navona Square, where we will visit the Vatican / St. Peter’s, which is the center of the Catholic faith and is the smallest country in the world by area. We will have free time at St. Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics gather for worship and on special occasions, the Pope greets the crowd from his throne. After the free time, we will start our Roman Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, we immerse ourselves among the locals and feel like residents of the city, exploring Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Jewish Ghetto with its small cafes, family-owned restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many charming shops that offer a glimpse of real Italy. After our walking tour through the narrow winding streets and enjoying the picturesque sights, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Amalfi Pearl Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we head to Naples. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour where we will see Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace of Naples, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and the Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the city tour, during the free time offered, guests wishing to join the optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro) can participate. Our tour will begin with lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Pompeii, which lies at the foot of Vesuvius volcano that erupted in A.D. 79 and buried the city. Archaeologists uncovered the ancient city in 1748, revealing it in all its former liveliness. We will conclude our tour with a visit to Pompeii Ancient City. Alternatively, guests may choose to join the optional Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). Known for its prehistoric past, small tourist boutiques, stunning coastlines, breathtaking views, and Italian limoncello, we will have a city tour and a free time in Sorrento located on the Amalfi coast. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena & San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Pisa. On the way, guests wishing to join the optional Siena & San Gimignano Tour (80 Euro) can participate. Our first visit point will be Siena, famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, small alleys, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour around Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to it in Siena, we arrive at San Gimignano, which is known for preserving its medieval architecture and appearance, earning it a spot on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Surviving wars and natural disasters, 14 architectural wonders among the 76 towers that once stood continue to be referred to as the "Beautiful Towers Town." We will enjoy a walk through the narrow streets leading to the town square, where we can see the 14 magnificent towers. Then, we proceed on our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, our tour will include the Leaning Tower, Cathedral, Baptistery, and Miracle Square. After a brief free time for photo opportunities, we transfer to our hotel in the Florence area for check-in and free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre by Train and Portofino by Boat Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Milan. On the way, guests wishing to join the optional Cinque Terre by Train and Portofino by Boat Tour (100 Euro – Train and Portofino Vaporetto fees included) can participate. Our first stop will be Cinque Terre, which consists of a series of connected villages by footpaths, characterized by colorful houses and unique local flavors along the western coast of Italy. Recognized for its culture and historical features, Cinque Terre is on UNESCO's World Heritage List and is preserved as a national park. After free time in Cinque Terre, we arrive in Portofino. Surrounded by colorful houses, Portofino, which has inspired songs with its narrow streets, colorful houses, green hills, and turquoise Mediterranean sea, offers breathtaking views. After our visit to Portofino, we continue our journey to Milan. Upon arrival, we have a panoramic city tour. Milan, one of the fashion capitals of Europe, is also known for its cuisine, opera, and cathedrals. Recognized as Italy's business and financial capital, Milan is an excellent destination for dining and shopping as we conduct our city tour, visiting the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romana as the primary attractions. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in the Milan region. Upon arrival, check-in, and free time to relax.
MILAN – COMO – LUGANO – (Verona Tour) – VENICE
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we head to Como. Upon arrival, we will have a tour where we will visit Lake Como, known for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauties, home to European celebrities and the jet set, while enjoying the exquisite scenery with a photo break. After free time in Como, we proceed to Lugano. During our tour, we will take a peaceful walk along Lake Lugano, which is located within Switzerland's borders, enjoying its unique nature, beautiful scenery, and city park, taking photos of stunning landscapes. After the tour, we head to the Venice region. On the way, guests wishing to join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euro) can participate. Verona, listed in UNESCO's World Heritage List, is home to Italy's second largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and is also known as the setting for the famous love story "Romeo and Juliet" written by William Shakespeare. We will walk through the main square (Via Mazzini) and Piazza Erbe, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and boutiques, while seeing the Verona Cathedral. After this panoramic tour, we continue our journey to Venice. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Venice region, we check-in and have free time to relax.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour) – (Venice Colorful Islands & Gondola Tour)
After breakfast and check-out, we offer free time. Guests wishing to join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour (90 Euro – Vaporetto and city entrance fees included) can participate. During our tour in Venice, we will visit iconic landmarks such as St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace representing power and grandeur, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanile Bell Tower, followed by a leisurely walk through the Venetian streets connected by bridges along the narrow canals. After the tour, during the free time offered for those participating in the Masterpieces and Outlet Tour, guests wishing to join the optional Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour (75 Euro) can participate. In this tour, we will observe the island of Venice from the lagoons, visit Lido and Murano Islands, and explore Burano Island, famous for its lace and known as one of the world's most colorful places. After a tour and free time for shopping, we return to Venice to experience a gondola ride, completing our tour. After finishing the Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour, we head to the Outlet Design Center for the final part of the Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour. The Outlet Design Center, known as one of Italy's most famous shopping centers and home to many famous brand stores, restaurants, and activity areas, offers a great and affordable shopping experience. After free time for shopping, we return to our hotel in the Venice region.
VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we depart for Bologna Airport at the time indicated by our guide for our flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our baggage check, ticketing, and passport control. We will fly to Istanbul at 12:30 PM with Pegasus Airlines' scheduled flight PC1218. We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul at 5:00 PM Turkish time, concluding our tour.
