These gardens, built by the Knights of St. John, offer views of the Grand Harbour and the three old cities enclosed by the walls. We then continue our tour. St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the Grand Master’s Palace, and the Parliament Building are among the places to be seen. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish may join the extra Görkemli Towns and Cities tour (Mdina & Mosta & Marsaxlokk & Vittoriosa & Senglea & Cospicua). (80 Euro) Our tour will take us to the central region of Malta, dominated by the historic Mdina Fortress. During our tour in Mdina, Malta’s former capital and a place of historical significance, we will visit the city walls, which offer a nearly panoramic 360-degree view of the island of Malta. Then we will visit Mosta, a historic town in the center of Malta. The town is famous for the impressive Rotunda Church (Mosta Dome). This church, which has a huge unsupported dome built in Europe, is considered miraculous because of a bomb that fell inside during World War II but did not explode. After the tour, our next stop will be Marsaxlokk, a traditional fishing village. Named from the Arabic word “marsa,” meaning “harbor,” and “xlokk,” the southeast wind, the town is known for its harbor filled with traditional brightly painted luzzu boats, its seaside lifestyle, and its famous seafood restaurants. Then we will visit the Three Cities (Vittoriosa – Senglea – Cospicua). With narrow stone streets, walled structures, baroque churches, and waterfront walking paths, these cities were the first places where the Knights of Malta settled in the 16th century and formed the backbone of the island’s military defense line. Each bears traces of the knights, the Ottoman sieges, and Malta’s maritime past. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
