1.Day Izmir – Rome
Meeting at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Departures terminal, in front of the SunExpress Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Rome on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ868 at 16:40. Upon arrival at 17:10 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. The city, which has been the center of one of the greatest civilizations in history, has been the center of power, culture, and religion for approximately 2,500 years. The historic center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is extremely rich in historical heritage and has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with its magnificent palaces, thousand-year-old churches and basilicas, splendid romantic ruins, ornate monuments, elegant fountains, and decorative statues. Among the places to be seen are Vatican City, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity (St. Peter’s Cathedral), the Colosseum, where gladiator fights were held, the Roman Forum, which was the center of religious, political, and social activities in Ancient Rome, the Vittoriano Monument, Trevi Fountain, known in our country as the Fountain of Love, and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna). After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
2.Day Rome – Castel Gandolfo & Nemi & Vatican – Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Grand Castel Gandolfo & Nemi & Outlet & Vatican Tour. (80 Euro) Our first stop will be Castel Gandolfo, home to the Papal Summer Palace, known as the summer residence of the Popes. This historic palace and its surroundings are famous for their impressive views and beautiful gardens. Then we head to Nemi Village. Located around Lake Nemi, which formed inside a volcanic crater, this village is also known as the strawberry village because the area is famous for its fresh and delicious strawberries. The village is an attractive destination for both tourists and nature lovers with its historical ruins, narrow cobblestone streets, and beautiful lake views. During the free time given, you will have the opportunity to explore the village and shop. After the tour, we go to one of Italy’s most famous outlet areas and provide free time. Here, you will have the opportunity to shop at attractive prices. After the tour, we head to St. Peter’s Square, the famous square of Vatican City, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, free time for visiting the basilica and the square. As you walk around the square, the obelisk in the center and the columns surrounding the square will fascinate you. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
3.Day Rome – Naples & Pompei – Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Grand Naples & Pompei Tour. (100 Euro) Naples, an energetic port city in southern Italy full of historical and cultural richness, is located on the coast of the Mediterranean, in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, and has a unique character with its lively markets, traditional pizza, and impressive historical ruins, offering a magnificent view. After the tour, our next stop is Pompei. You will embark on a deep journey into Ancient Rome at this archaeological site of the ancient city, which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 B.C. and uncovered thousands of years later, with the remarkably well-preserved remains of settlements and daily life. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
4.Day Rome – Izmir
After breakfast at the hotel, free time until the time to be determined by the guide. Guests who wish may join the optional Grand Orvieto Tour. (35 Euro) Located on a high volcanic hill in the Central Italy region, this impressive medieval town is famous for its magnificent Gothic cathedral, large square, and historic streets. The mosaics and detailed exterior of Orvieto Cathedral are both an artistic and architectural masterpiece. After the tour, we head to the airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ869 at 21:00. Arrival at 01:20 local time and the end of the tour.
