Semester Period Florence Rome Tour (January 24, 2026) 4 Nights with Pgs (BLQ-FCO)
Day 1 ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
Meeting at the Pegasus Airlines check-in desk in the International Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Departure for Bologna with Pegasus Airlines flight. Arrival at Bologna Airport local time and transfer to Florence city tour with our private bus. Our panoramic city tour starts with photographing the historical streets and squares of Florence, concluding at Piazza Della Repubblica (Republic Square). After a short break, those who wish can continue to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Florence, the capital of the Renaissance, step by step with our guide. In the afternoon, there is an opportunity to participate in the Medici’s Path Renaissance Works (45€) tour, which will delve into Florence’s history and the lives of Florentine artists and scientists who shaped the Renaissance period while examining the city’s monumental works step by step. During the tour, we will visit Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici family ruled in Florence, Piazza Della Signoria which hosts the masterpieces of Hercules and David statues, the Uffizi Art Gallery, the historic Ponte Vecchio, and the Medici Corridor, the house of the famous literary master Dante Alighieri who wrote the Divine Comedy in the 13th century, Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistry famous for its "Gates of Paradise." The famous historic markets of Florence will also be included in the visit. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
Day 2 FLORENCE (MONTECATINI)
After breakfast, it is a free day. Those who wish will depart with our guide for the Great Tuscany Tour (145€). Places to be visited include Pisa - San Gimignano - Volterra. Pisa is famous for its leaning tower, considered one of the world's most important historical sites. During the panoramic tour, Pisa Tower, the cathedral, the baptistery, and the Miracoli Square will be visited, and guests will have the chance to take photos in this historic city. San Gimignano (City of 13 Towers), considered the center of the city built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries, will be visited and visitors can shop at reasonable prices in the central Cisterna Square. Volterra is a medieval fortified town filled with history, and references to it can also be found in Hollywood films and series (Game of Thrones, Twilight Zone, etc.). This unique Tuscan town has a history dating back to Etruscan and Roman times, offering many opportunities to visitors. During our visit to Volterra, we will walk through its narrow streets and squares from the Middle Ages while enjoying the magnificent views of the Tuscan Valley. Features include the Roman Theater, the remains of the forum area, and the main square of the town, the Priori Square, and the cathedral which was built in the 12th century. In our free time, visitors can taste cheese and the famous wines from the small shops in town or enjoy coffees in the historic cafes in the square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
Day 3 FLORENCE – MONTECATINI – ROME
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head to Rome with our private vehicle and guide. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our tour, we will see some of the city’s greatest treasures such as the Vatican (St. Peter's), Castel Sant’Angelo, the remains of the ancient Roman Circus Maximus, and the Baroque period's streets by bus. There will be a short photo break at the Colosseum, and after the tour
, guests will have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, those who wish may join the extra evening tour of Rome (45€) to see the famous squares we haven't seen before and enjoy strolling through its streets. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4 ROME
After breakfast, it is a free day. Those who wish will depart for the Lake Albano & Nemi Village (Strawberry Village) & Castelli Romani Outlet (95€) tour organized by our guide. We explore the area of natural beauty where popes spent their summer months and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries. The tour continues to Castel Romano Designer Outlet where we will find many famous brands and shopping opportunities. After this tour, those who wish can join the extra Rome Monuments and Masterpieces (65€) tour which will include ancient Pantheon temple, Baroque architecture and famous fountain of Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain where it is believed that throwing a coin guarantees a return to Rome, and the Spanish Steps famous for street artists, Castel Sant'Angelo - the Fortress of Angels and its bridge. You are ready to lose yourself in the ancient stories and historical fabric of Rome in this guided tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and overnight stay.
Day 5 ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Departure to Istanbul with Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight and arrival in Istanbul local time, and the end of our tour.
