1. Day İstanbul – Marseille
Meeting at Istanbul Airport, international departures terminal, in front of the Turkish Airlines counter, 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, depart for Marseille at 07:15 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1365. Upon arrival at 09:35 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Marseille is a large and vibrant port city located on the Mediterranean coast in the south of France. As one of the oldest cities on the Mediterranean, Marseille has a rich history in terms of history, culture, and sea tourism, and was named the “European Capital of Culture” in 2013. Places we will see upon arrival include Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, the Old Port, and Marseille Cathedral. After the tour, free time. 2. Day Marseille – Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Nice. Known as the “Pearl of the French Riviera,” Nice is among the leading destinations, famous for its historical richness, magnificent beaches, and lively atmosphere. In this blue paradise of the Mediterranean, the sights we will see during our tour include the famous promenade La Promenade des Anglais, Old Nice and its narrow streets, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and Jean Medecin Boulevard. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
3. Day Nice
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Towns and Cities (Paul de Vence & Antibes & Cannes) tour. (80 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is the village of Paul de Vence. Famous for its medieval streets, stone houses, and ramparts, this village is an important point for art and culture enthusiasts and is home to many art galleries and workshops. Among the favorite places of artists such as Picasso, Renoir, Yves Montand, and Simone Signoret, the village also contains Marc Chagall’s grave. After the tour here, our next stop is the jewel of the French Riviera, the city of Antibes. Antibes is a historic port city located in southeastern France along the French Riviera. It captivates visitors with both its historical texture and the beauty of the Mediterranean coast. The city is famous for its narrow medieval streets, old port, and the renowned Provence market. The Grimaldi Castle, located right by the sea, now houses a wonderful Picasso Museum. After our tour, our final stop is the festival city of Cannes. Cannes is a stylish resort town in southeastern France and one of the most famous places on the French Riviera. It is especially known worldwide for the Cannes Film Festival. The city is known for its magnificent beaches, luxury shopping opportunities, and vibrant nightlife. After visiting this beautiful city, we transfer to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Splendid Principality of Monaco/Monte Carlo tour. (80 Euro) Monaco is a small principality on the French Riviera in the south of France. Monaco is renowned for its luxurious lifestyle, casinos, and yacht harbors. The country has an impressive view on the Mediterranean coast and, despite its small size, is full of wealth and splendor. Monte Carlo, one of Monaco’s five districts, is the wealthiest area of Monaco. James Bond films Never Say Never Again, GoldenEye, and Casino Royale were filmed at the Monte Carlo Casino, located in the heart of Monte Carlo. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 4. Day Nice – Genoa – Milan
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Genoa for our city tour. Named after the shape of a kneecap, this port city is located in the Liguria region and serves as the capital of the region. Genoa, selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2004, has a deep historical past. The city began to make its name in the 5th century BC and is also important for having served as the capital of the Genoese state and as the hometown of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. Sites to be seen during our city tour include Piazza de Ferrari, San Lorenzo Cathedral, and Torre della Lanterna. After the tour, we head to Milan. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. In Milan, which has a rich historical and cultural background, sights to be seen include the magnificent Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle), Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, one of the world’s oldest shopping arcades, the magnificent Duomo Cathedral, and La Scala, one of the world’s largest theater buildings. 5. Day Milan
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the Splendid Lakes Tour (Como & Lugano) and Outlet Center tour. (75 Euro) Our first stop is Como. In addition to its architectural beauty reflecting Gothic and Renaissance styles, Como also draws attention with the homes of world-famous names such as Madonna and George Clooney. After the tour, our second stop is Lugano. Lake Lugano is a breathtaking lake in southern Switzerland, located at the foothills of the Alps. This lake combines the cultural and natural characteristics of both Switzerland and Italy. After our visit to this city, known for its magnificent scenery and stylish shopping streets, we stop for shopping at the outlet featuring world-famous brands. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. 6. Day Milan – Bologna – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Bologna. Bologna is a historic settlement located in northern Italy, in a region nestled among the Apennine Mountains, and stands out for its cultural richness. During our city tour in this beautiful city, the sights to be seen include Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio Basilica, Palazzo del Podestà, and the Town Hall. After the tour, we head to Bologna Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart for Istanbul at 19:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1326. Upon arrival at 23:05 local time, our tour comes to an end.
