1. DAY ISTANBUL – VENICE
We meet at the Pegasus Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport. After baggage and ticket procedures, we fly on a scheduled flight of Pegasus Airlines. Following our arrival, we depart to Venice by our private bus waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour of Venice. After reaching Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to St. Mark's Square. During our city tour, we will see famous places such as St. Mark's Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took their last look at Venice before imprisonment, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge on it, the Doge's Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the Church of Giorgio Maggiore. After the tour, there will be free time. Guests wishing to do so can join the optional activity of a Gondola Tour (30€ per person) organized by our guide. After free time, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
2. DAY VENICE – FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish can join the optional Bologna Tour (30€ per person) organized by our guide en route. In our tour, we will see Piazza Maggiore (Great Square), the Neptune Fountain right behind the Square, the Old Stock Exchange Building, the first university building in Europe, Quadrilatero (the old market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli Towers, which have become symbols of Bologna. After the tour, we head to Florence. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour of Florence. Our tour will include the Arno River, which divides Florence, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio where the Medici Family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria hosting the famous statues of Hercules and David from the Renaissance, and the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral with the highest dome in Italy and its famous Baptistery. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Accommodation at our hotel.
3. DAY FLORENCE
After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Guests wishing to do so can join the optional Tuscany Tour (100€) organized by our guide. The first stop of our tour is Pisa, where we will see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the nearby Miracoli Square before heading to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, which will make you feel like you are in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and the Cisterno Square. After the tour, we proceed to Siena. In Siena, where neighborhood culture is predominant, there are a total of 17 neighborhoods. The Campo Square, where the Palio horse races, held with the participation of neighborhoods, take place, the unfinished Siena Cathedral, and the narrow streets of the city will be seen during our Siena city tour. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
4. DAY FLORENCE – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Rome. Guests wishing to do so can join the optional Orvieto Tour (30€ per person) organized by our guide en route. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in the art and general history of Italy and is famous for its extraordinary natural beauty, we will see the ancient city center and the Orvieto Cathedral before heading to Rome. After our arrival, a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our tour, we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, the Venice Square, where Mussolini addressed the public, the II. Vittorio Emanuele monument, the Colosseum, where gladiator battles were held, the Fountain of Trevi famous from the Sweet Life movie, the Spanish Steps with 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps featuring the shipwreck fountain. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
5. DAY ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Guests wishing to do so can join the optional Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour (70€ per person) organized by our guide. After visiting the area of natural beauty where the popes lived during the summer and the village of Nemi, famous for its wild strawberries, we will have free time for shopping in the Castel Romano Outlet area, the most famous shopping area in Italy. We then head to St. Peter's Square, which is considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, there will be free time for the visit to the Basilica and Square. Guests wishing to do so can join the optional Rome by Night Tour (30€) organized by our guide. Accommodation at our hotel.
6. DAY ROME – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Rome Airport based on your flight time. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on a scheduled flight of Pegasus Airlines. Upon arrival, the tour and our services conclude.
GENERAL TERMS
1- The General Terms are an inseparable part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently of the tour program.
2- In case of insufficient participation for the trip; Wtatil can cancel the tour up to 21 days prior to the trip date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour price will be refunded to the guest. Regarding additional services purchased outside the tour; domestic flight connections purchased from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest, if the visa service is used for the visa application made on behalf of the guest using travel health insurance it cannot be refunded as these services are considered used, if a visa application has not been made, the visa and travel health insurance will be canceled and the fee refunded. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different product provider independent of Wtatil, in the event of the trip being canceled by Wtatil, the guest cannot claim any refund from Wtatil. Any material and moral losses arising from the cancellation of the tour are accepted in advance by the guest when purchasing the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- In case of insufficient participation for the trip, Wtatil has the right to show good will and not cancel the tour. In this case, since the tour will be individually provided for the guest, the included guiding service will only cover the foreign departure-return transfers.
Cancellation and Change
4- Guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying Wtatil in writing until 30 days before the trip date, except for airline tickets for which payment has been made and/or commitments have been made by Wtatil. In case of less than 31 days remaining until the start date of the trip, the guest can cancel by paying a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee of the flight ticket, and in case of 15 days or less remaining until the start date of the trip, can cancel by paying the full penalty fee of the tour price. In the case of a cancellation request, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa service, and travel health insurance may vary according to the time of cancellation request, so it is necessary to inquire in advance about the refund details. Wtatil cannot make any commitments regarding the refund of additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
5- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of the museums and historical sites at the visited locations and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
6- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are conducted as a general introduction to the cities and conducted from the vehicle with briefing by the guide, not including entrance to museums or historical sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, will not be conducted if local authorities do not grant permission to visit, roads are closed due to any event, or if it becomes impossible to carry out the tour due to weather conditions, in which case Wtatil cannot be held responsible for not being able to conduct the mentioned tours. Some tours may be carried out on public transport or on foot where access is restricted due to closed roads or vehicle entry restrictions.
7- Our guide may change the days of city tours and/or additional tours depending on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and the closure status of the museum and historical site. This applies to any changes that may occur in flight times as well.
8- Regarding the tours to be carried out with Speed Boats, attention should be paid to the following; heavy meals should not be eaten just before boarding the boat and excessive amounts of water should not be consumed. Guests with complaints related to the stomach, back, neck, and pregnant guests should inform their guides of their conditions.
9- There is no refund for services included in the price if participation in the tour or meal services specified is not provided.
About Flights
10- Wtatil is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention, will apply.
11- Delays or schedule changes may occur on scheduled and charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform the guests of these changes as soon as possible. The guest accepted the risk of flight time changes/cancellations when purchasing the trip.
12- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.
13- According to the regulations of airlines; if the outbound flight of return tickets purchased for round-trip is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
14- Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in tours with flights are personal matters and must be carried out by the guests in advance at airports, at the relevant airline counters, or online through the airline’s websites.
15- Any last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at the airports and shown on the information boards. This information should be monitored by the guests themselves.
16- Wtatil cannot be held responsible for guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times communicated by the airline as per the airline rules for participation in the tour, do not carry out check-in and boarding procedures on time, or perform check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets, transfers in the destination area, etc. for guests who miss the flight are their responsibility.
17- The general baggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and the country of destination. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this baggage weight may decrease to 15 kg. Extra baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.
18- For guests wishing to upgrade their flight tickets with their miles (to business or first class); upgrade procedures can be carried out based on the availability of the airline (check the airline you are a member of) after the tickets have been issued. No mileage guarantee is given for each flight. Please check whether the program tickets are in an upgradeable class.
19- In some airlines, food and beverage and online check-in services may be subject to additional charges.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil will not accept any responsibility for any changes or cancellation processes made by the guest directly in contact with the hotel. In such cases, the cancellation conditions of Wtatil will apply.
21- In cases where the hotel(s) are indicated only by category information without specifying names in the tour program and/or when presented with optional accommodations for the same destination, Wtatil will inform the guest 48 hours prior to the trip date.
22- In special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther than the indicated locations or km. In such a case, Wtatil will provide information 15 days prior to the trip date.
23- During the registration for the purchased tour; it is required for the guest to correctly enter/declare the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in their passport into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Any penalty for cancellation or changes of flight tickets resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
24- To use mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey to ensure that your phone is open for international use.
25- The check-in time for accommodation at the hotel is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.
26- Requests regarding the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Efforts will be made to meet the reserved rooms according to the preferences of the guest, depending on the availability of the hotel. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- Breakfast provided in hotels may differ from the rich breakfast commonly found in Turkish cuisine. Generally, it is offered as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options such as butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee and may be served in a separate room assigned to the group.
28- In some cases, double rooms may have twin beds instead of a double bed. Most European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be pushed together if necessary.
29- The child and extra bed policy may vary by hotel, depending on room types.
30- Any type of extra bed and baby cot is provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability, requiring the hotel’s approval.
31- The capacity for extra beds or baby cots in the room is 1 unit (maximum).
32- In triple rooms there is an application for an extra bed; the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds in these rooms consist of folding and coach beds. Our guests accept that there might be congestion in the rooms due to extra beds added to standard rooms for triple rooms and/or reservations with children.
33- If the number of children and their ages accompanying the adults in hotel reservations is incorrectly declared by our guests, the respective hotels may charge additional fees. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to verify the ages of children.
34- In reservations of 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child prices are only valid if the child is staying with two adults. Child discounts apply only for “one child” who meets the age group while staying with two adults.
35- Daily currency exchange rates will be reflected in the TL prices. The rates valid at the time of payment will apply. Additional requests and some extra services provided at the hotel (mini-bar, ironing, etc.) may be subject to additional charges set by the hotel, and these expenses are not included in the price at the time of purchase and should be paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries may have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. Any city, tourism, or other taxes being levied will be collected from the guest by the hotel upon entry or exit.
37- The distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may vary due to traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country being visited, road works, and conditions.
38- Wtatil reserves the right to change the order of cities in the program without altering the content of the program and the main airline to be flown for necessary situations or as deemed necessary.
39- Personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/identifications of the participants in the tour are under their own responsibility, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In case forgotten items are found, the costs incurred for delivering them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.
40- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports related to health issues with them.
41- For any possible additional expenses, at the hotel check-in, official identification with photo issued by official institutions and credit card or cash deposit may be requested by the hotel. The return of the deposit requested during check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest and Wtatil has no intervention in it.
Visa and Passport
42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.
43- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
44- To ensure that an entry-exit stamp can be applied to your passport at customs crossings/border checkpoints, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport.
45- Being exempt from a visa requirement for entry into the countries included in this tour does not mean that entry/exit will be allowed; the passport police have the authority to prevent you from entering/exiting the country, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible for this, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
46- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or those who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using their other passport must consult the relevant consulates regarding the visa procedures applied by the country they will travel to; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any resulting consequences.
47- To avoid problems with customs police at the border checkpoint of the visited country due to torn, worn, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports; it is necessary to renew the passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
48- Under 18 minors traveling alone or only with one parent may be asked for a document showing the consent of both parents when entering and exiting the country; it is advisable for minors under 18 and their parents to be sensitive about this matter.
