DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN / SAVONA
Meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, then depart for Milan on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 06:50. We will arrive in Milan at local time 08:45 and then transfer to the Savona port where the COSTA TOSCANA ship will depart. After check-in and passport procedures on the ship, settle into the cabins and free time. Our ship will depart the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 02 MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVANCE)
Our ship will dock at the port of Marseille at 09:00. After breakfast, there is free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join our guide’s optional “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour.” We will begin our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, with a visit to the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. Other notable places to visit include Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old city, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. We will then travel to Aix en Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. We’ll start with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, known for its Romanesque facade and covered arched walkway. During our pleasant stroll in the old town, you will see antique inns and the Mazarin district, designed by Cardinal Mazarino’s brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 03 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at the port of Barcelona at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there is free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may participate in the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises will begin with our special bus waiting for us at the port. We will visit La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and port , Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street which has been transformed into a street museum by Gaudi with his houses, and Sagrada Familia, his most significant work. During our tour, we will take a scenic ride up Montjuic hill to take panoramic photographs. After some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 04 DAY AT SEA
This day will be spent at sea, where our ship will offer you many alternatives. Those who wish can enjoy the ship's open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Others may shop at duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment options held at dozens of bars. All day long, you will find various dining options waiting for you. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 05 CAGLIARI
Our ship will dock at the port of Cagliari at 09:00. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the optional “Cagliari City Tour & Dolianova Vineyards Tour” organized by our guide. We will head towards Dolianova, famous for its wines, in our special vehicle from the port. On the way, we will visit the San Pantaleo Church, dating back to the 13th century. Then we will visit a local winery to learn about the winemaking process. Guests who wish may participate in wine tasting. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at the port of Naples at 10:00. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the optional “Napoli City Tour & Pompeii Tour” organized by our guide. Naples, a famous port city in the Campania Region, is one of the few European cities that has never completely disappeared through the ages. Founded by the Greeks and developed by the Romans, the city has been a precious treasure for foreign invaders throughout the past centuries. This city with such a history is noisy, somewhat chaotic, and not very tidy, but still worth seeing. In this tour, while visiting Pompeii, buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, you will witness the incredible destruction nature can bring and the power of nature. After that, we will take a panoramic bus tour in Naples and see the Royal Square. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 07 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at the port of Civitavecchia at 08:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the optional “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. This full-day tour will take us from Civitavecchia Port to Rome in a 1 hour and 15 minutes bus ride. Upon arrival in Rome, we will start with a panoramic tour by bus, visiting places like Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, and Circus Maximus. After that, we will explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. Places to see include Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, where we will finish our tour and take a shopping break. After the tour, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 GENOA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at the port of Genoa at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we complete our disembarkation procedures and then leave the ship. We will then head to Milan Airport in our special vehicle waiting for us at the port. After arriving at the airport, we will check-in and complete our passport procedures before departing for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 20:10. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 00:10. End of our tour.
