Day 1 – Istanbul – Rome - Civitavecchia
We meet at Istanbul New Airport 3 hours before the flight, and after completing our check-in procedures, we take our flight to Rome (FCO) Airport. Following our arrival, we transfer to the 5* Costa Smeralda.
Day 2 – Savona | Portofino & Genoa Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Portofino & Genoa Tour, which our guide will organize as an optional excursion. Genoa, the capital of the Liguria Region, undoubtedly deserves much more than its current popularity. The city is the birthplace of pesto sauce and Christopher Columbus, as well as the driving force behind Italian football. Thanks to its rich artistic, musical, gastronomic, architectural and historical features, the city was named European Capital of Culture in 2004. This historic city, dating back to the Genoese, will greatly surprise you. After touring among magnificent mansions, streets, squares and historic sites, we depart by bus for Santa Margherita Ligure. From here, we travel by boat to Portofino. We have free time in Portofino. While some of our guests may climb to the Church of Saint George to enjoy the magnificent view of Portofino, others may have a drink and go shopping in Portofino’s dazzling natural harbor. We will have time for shopping. After our tour, we depart for our ship.
Day 3 – Marseille | Aix-en-Provence & Marseille City Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join our Aix-en-Provence & Marseille Tour, which the ship will organize as an optional excursion. We begin our tour with a 10-minute walk from the port of Marseille. After approximately 40 minutes of travel by bus, we will head to the Aix-en-Provence region, one of the most elegant cities in southern France and a source of inspiration for many writers, such as Paul Cézanne and Émile Zola. In this region, famous for its lavender fields, we will tour a city filled with beautiful buildings, flower-covered balconies, fountains that are each a work of art, and history at every turn. After Aix-en-Provence, we return to Marseille and begin our city tour. During the tour, passing through the Old Port, we visit the Church of Notre-Dame de la Garde, one of the city’s most prominent historical sites, located on a high hill. Palais Longchamp is the second stop of our tour. During our visit to this building, which serves as the Museum of Fine Arts, we view its gardens and fountains from the outside and take a photo break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4 – Barcelona | Barcelona City Tour
After breakfast, our guests who wish may join the Barcelona city tour, which our guide will organize as an optional excursion. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful metropolises, begins with our private bus waiting for us at the port. La Rambla, the Christopher Columbus Monument, the Maremagnum Artificial Harbor, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and harbor, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gràcia, where Gaudí transformed houses into a street museum, and his most important work, the Sagrada Familia, are among the places we will see. During our tour, we will climb Montjuïc Hill and take photos of the scenery. After free time on La Rambla for shopping, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5 – Ibiza | Free Time
After breakfast on board, we have free time all day. Our guests who wish may spend time on Ibiza’s beautiful beaches. They may explore this beautiful island. All our guests must be on board 1 hour before the ship’s departure time stated in the daily newspapers left in your room and sent by your guide via WhatsApp.
Day 6 – Cruising at Sea
We will spend the entire day cruising at sea. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You may have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant, which offers a variety of freshly prepared dishes by special chefs to suit every taste, or at your specially reserved place in the à la carte restaurant. During the day, in addition to yoga and fitness classes, you may use the open-air tennis, volleyball and basketball facilities or the gym equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, including bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, you may spend time in the ship’s colorful and entertaining bars and cafés while listening to live music, attend theater performances featuring Broadway-style musicals, or try your luck at the casino. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7 – Palermo | Cefalu & Palermo Tour
After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the Cefalu tour, which our guide will organize as an optional excursion. We travel to Cefalu, the famous fishing town and Sicily’s most popular holiday resort, with a magical past and a colorful geography where the sea and sky blend together. Located east of Palermo on the Tyrrhenian Sea, Cefalu is one of Sicily’s most important tourist centers, with its narrow medieval streets, houses, turquoise-blue sea and long beach. Also a typical fishing town, Cefalu’s famous Cathedral, built in the 12th century, and the historic laundry from the Roman period are among its leading attractions. Upon returning from Cefalu, we will have time to see the city of Palermo, which has been the subject of films as the center of the Sicilian Mafia. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 8 – Civitavecchia – Rome - Istanbul
After breakfast on board, we complete our disembarkation procedures. Our guests who wish may join the Rome city tour, which our guide will organize as an optional excursion.
