DAY 1 ISTANBUL – BARI – NAPLES
We meet with our valued guests in front of the Freebird Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage and ticket processing, we take a flight to Bari with a special flight of Freebird Airlines. Following our arrival, we have a panoramic city tour. The places to be seen during our tour include the Cathedral and St. Nicholas Basilica, the Teatro Margarita, the Petruzzelli Theater, and the Old Town. After our tour, we will transfer to Naples. Guests who wish can join the optional Matera Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide along the route. During this tour, we will visit Matera, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, known for its rock-carved churches and houses, and the place where Carlo Levi was exiled before his exile. After the tour, we continue our journey to Naples. Upon arrival, we have a panoramic city tour of Naples. During our city tour, we will cover Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace built in the 17th century, Castel Nuovo (New Castle), the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola inspired by St. Peter's Square and the Pantheon in Rome, the Galleria Umberto I with its shops, the San Carlo Theater built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Naples Harbor. After our panoramic city tour, we transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 2 NAPLES
After breakfast, guests who wish can join the optional Sorrento & Amalfi Coast Tour (95 Euros) organized by our guide. In this tour, we will experience the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, known for its steep cliffs and charming villages, winding and steep roads, decorative gardens, and turquoise waters, which is one of Italy's most beautiful coastlines. We will begin our journey in Sorrento, one of the most romantic cities in Italy, with its green streets and flower-filled squares. We then proceed to Positano, a town covered with lemon groves where all the houses seem stacked on top of each other. After a panoramic visit to Positano, we will have free time for photos before heading to Amalfi for lunch and shopping. Guests can visit the Amalfi Cathedral or spend their free time in the beautiful streets of Amalfi. After the tour, we return to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 3 NAPLES – ROME
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Pompeii Ancient City Tour (65 Euros) organized by our guide. The city of Pompeii was buried under 7 meters of soil due to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. We will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and the people turned to stone uncovered during the excavations that started after this event. After our tour, we head toward Rome. Upon arrival, we have a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our city tour, we will see Castel Sant'Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned, the Venice Square where Mussolini addressed the public, the monument of II. Vittorio Emmanuele, the Colosseum where gladiator battles took place, the Trevi Fountain famous from the film "La Dolce Vita", the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the Spanish Steps with the submerged ship fountain. DAY 4 ROME
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Outlet and Lakes Region (Castel Gandolfo & Nemi) & Vatican Tour (75 Euros) organized by our guide. After exploring the region, known for its natural beauty where the Popes spent their summers, and the charming Nemi famous for wild strawberries, we proceed to Italy's most famous outlet area for free time. Then, we head to St. Peter's Square, considered the center of Christianity. After arrival, we have free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish can join the optional Rome Night Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 5 ROME – FLORENCE
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, we head toward Florence. Guests who wish can join the optional Orvieto Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide along the way. In Orvieto, which holds an important place in Italy's art and history, and has extraordinary natural beauties, we will see the ancient city center and the Orvieto Duomo before heading to Florence. After arrival, we have a panoramic city tour of Florence. During our tour, we will cover the Arno River that divides Florence, the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge known for its jewelers, the Palazzo Vecchio, where the Medici family ruled Florence, Piazza Della Signoria, which hosts the masterpieces of the Renaissance including Hercules and David statues, and Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo with the 3rd highest dome in Italy and the Baptistery known for its façade. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 6 FLORENCE
After breakfast, we have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Tuscany Tour (100 Euros) organized by our guide. Our first stop will be Pisa, where we will see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a symbol of Italy, and the adjacent Miracoli Square before heading to San Gimignano. In San Gimignano, which will make you feel like you're in the Middle Ages, we will see the 13 towers built by rival noble families in the 12th and 13th centuries and the Cisterna Square. After the tour, we proceed to Siena. In Siena, where the neighborhood culture is dominant, there are a total of 17 neighborhoods. We will see Campo Square, where the Palio horse races are held with the participation of these neighborhoods, the unfinished Siena Duomo, and the narrow streets of the city during our Siena city tour. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 7 FLORENCE – VENICE
We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. After that, we proceed to the city of Venice, but guests who wish can join the optional Bologna Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide along the way. In our Bologna city tour, we will see Piazza Maggiore (Main Square), which is considered the center of Bologna, the Fountain of Neptune behind the square, the Old Stock Exchange, the first university building in Europe, Quadrilatero (the ancient market), and the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, which have become the symbols of Bologna. After the tour, we continue to the city of Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short boat ride to reach San Marco Square and start our panoramic city tour. During our city tour, we will see the famous San Marco Square and its Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs where prisoners took their last look at Venice before entering jail, the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, the Doge's Palace, the Bell and Clock Tower, and the San Giorgio Maggiore Church. After our city tour, guests who wish can join the optional Gondola Tour (35 Euros) organized by our guide. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
DAY 8 VENICE – ANCONA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out procedures from the hotel (check-out time is 07:00 in the morning), we transfer to Ancona Airport. After completing luggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul with a special flight of Freebird Airlines. Arrival in Istanbul marks the end of our tour.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1- The General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the tour date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The entire tour fee will be refunded to the guest. Regarding refunds for additional services purchased outside the tour; if domestic flight connections purchased from Wtatil are also refunded to the guest, visa services, travel health insurance, and if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using travel health insurance, these services cannot be refunded as they are considered used. If the guest purchased domestic flight connections from a different provider independent of Wtatil, in the event of cancellation by Wtatil, the guest cannot request any refund from Wtatil. The guest accepts any material and moral losses that may arise from the cancellation of the tour at the time of purchasing the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil has the right to show goodwill by not canceling the tour. In this case, since the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the package included guiding service will only cover the foreign departure-return airport transfers.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalty by notifying Wtatil in writing up to 30 days before the tour departure date, excluding flight tickets paid for and/or pledged to the airline. If the cancellation request is made with less than 31 days remaining to the start date of the trip, a penalty of 50% of the remaining tour fee will be paid on top of the airfare. In cases where the cancellation is made 15 days or less before the start of the trip, the complete tour fee will be paid as a penalty. In case of cancellation requests, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the time of the cancellation request; therefore, it is necessary to inquire ahead about refunds. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding refunds for additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
5- The days and times of the specified tours in the program can be changed by the guide depending on the open/closed status of the museums, historical sites, and weather conditions at the places to be visited. Different guides may accompany our guests during tours.
6- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are designed for a general introduction to the cities and are conducted as panoramic tours with guiding narration from within the vehicle, without including museum or site entries. These tours last a maximum of 2-3 hours. If the panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be conducted due to closure of places or roads not allowing access announced by local authorities at the time and date of the tour, or if it becomes impossible to perform the tour due to weather conditions, Wtatil cannot be held responsible for not conducting the mentioned tours. Some tours may be carried out using public transportation or on foot where closed roads or points that do not allow vehicle entry exist.
7- Our guide can make changes to the dates of city tours and/or additional tours depending on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and the open/closed status of the museum or historical site. This also applies to any potential changes in flight times.
8- Important considerations for tours to be made with speed boats are: heavy meals should not be consumed just before boarding, and excessive intake of water should be avoided. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints or pregnant guests must inform their guides of their situations.
9- There are no refunds for services included in the prices if the guest does not participate in the tour or meal services.
About Flights
10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention will apply.
11- Delays or changes in flight times may occur on scheduled and charter flights. Wtatil is obliged to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip acknowledging the risk of changes/cancellations to flight times.
12- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.
13- According to airline rules, if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets purchased is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
14- The check-in and boarding procedures that must be performed for those participating in flights are personal transactions and must be conducted by the guests at the airports, at the relevant airline counters, or online on the airline's website before the flights.
15- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at airports and shown on information boards at the airport. This information should be tracked by the guests themselves.
16- Wtatil is not responsible for the guests who are not present at the specified airport at the times reported in line with airline rules for participation in the tour, do not complete the check-in/boarding procedures on time, or do not board despite completing the check-in/boarding procedures on time. All expenses for obtaining new tickets necessary for guests who miss their flights to join the tour, as well as transfers in the destination area, etc., will be borne by them.
17- The general luggage weight allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the country to which you are flying. If domestic flights are present in the destination country, this luggage limit may drop to 15 kg. Excess luggage weight/price rules are determined by airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.
18- For guests wishing to upgrade their tickets using miles (to business or first class), the upgrade can be performed based on the availability of the airline (please check with the airline you are a member of) after the tickets are issued. A guarantee is not provided for each flight’s miles. Please check if the tickets of the program are from an upgradeable class.
19- In some airlines, food & beverage and online check-in services may be subject to additional charges.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by guests communicating with the hotel. In this case, the cancellation conditions of Wtatil will apply.
21- In cases where the hotel(s) are provided with only category information and without stating the names in the tour program, the hotel will be communicated by Wtatil 48 hours before the trip date.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, Wtatil will inform 15 days before the tour date.
23- Guests must correctly enter/declare their name as it appears on their passport, date of birth, and passport number into the system at the time of registering for the purchased tour. Flight tickets will be issued according to this information. Any penalties resulting from incorrect information regarding flight ticket cancellations or changes will be charged to the guests.
24- To use your mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey to ensure that your phone is enabled for international use.
25- The hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.
26- Requests related to the room (high floor, close to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) will be communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Efforts will be made to ensure that the reserved rooms are according to the preferences of the guest, depending on the availability of the hotel. The realization of these requests depends on availability at the time of hotel check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- Breakfast provided at hotels differs from the rich breakfast traditionally known in Turkish cuisine. Generally, it is presented in a limited variety, consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, often referred to as a continental breakfast, and it may be served in a separate hall designated for groups.
28- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of two single beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with two single beds that can be combined when necessary.
29- Child and additional bed policies may vary by hotel and room types.
30- All types of extra beds and baby cots are provided upon request and according to hotel availability and must be approved by the hotel.
31- The capacity of extra beds or baby cots in the room is 1 unit (maximum).
32- In triple rooms, there is a practice of extra beds, and the bed allocated to the third person in these types of rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are either foldable or referred to as coach beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept potential crowding in triple rooms and/or additional beds for child reservations.
33- If the number of children and their ages to be accommodated with adults in hotel reservations are incorrectly declared by our guests, the relevant hotels may charge an extra fee. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification to verify the ages of children.
34- In reservations with 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child. Child rates apply only if the child is accommodated alongside two adults. Child discounts apply only to "one child" that fits the age group travelling with two adults.
35- Daily currency exchange rates are reflected in TL prices. The exchange rates at the time of payment are valid. Additional requests and some extra services (mini bar, ironing, etc.) you will receive at the hotel may be subject to extra fees. These expenses are not included in the charges during the purchase and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries have different applications related to city, tourism, or local taxes. All kinds of taxes, such as city taxes, tourism taxes, or other taxes in effect, will be collected from the guest by the hotel during check-in or check-out.
37- The distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to conditions such as traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the country visited, road constructions, and conditions.
38- Wtatil may change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be flown, without altering the content of the program, in case of necessary situations or if deemed necessary.
39- The personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities of the people participating in the tour are their own responsibility, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, the costs incurred in delivering the items to the country and/or the individual will be borne by the item owner.
40- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policies and any medications and reports regarding any health issues with them.
41- For any possible additional charges, a government-issued photo ID/passport and credit card or cash deposit may be requested at check-in by the hotel. The refund of the deposit requested upon check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no involvement.
Visa and Passport
42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.
43- Guests must have their passports valid for at least 6 months from the date of the travel completion.
44- In order for your passport to have an entry-exit stamp at customs crossings/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport.
45- Being exempt from visa for entry into the countries in this tour does not mean you will be allowed entry/exit from the country, as the passport police have the authority to deny entry/exiting; Wtatil is not responsible for this situation, and responsibility lies with the traveler.
46- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who have dual citizenship and will participate in the tour using their other country passport must personally inquire about the visa procedures applied by the country they will be traveling to at the relevant consulates; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any consequences.
47- To avoid issues with customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn-out, wet, and/or similarly damaged passports, it is required to renew the passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
48- Guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that they may be asked by the police to provide a document showing the joint consent of the parents upon entering or exiting the country; therefore, it is advised for guests under 18 and their parents to be diligent in this matter.
