ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – FLORENCE – ROME
We arrive at the International Terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport 3 hours before the flight to complete our ticket, baggage check-in, and passport procedures, and then we fly to Bologna with Pegasus Airlines flight PC1217 at 11:40 AM. We arrive in Bologna at 12:20 PM local time and then travel to Florence by private bus waiting for us. Once we arrive in Florence, we organize a city tour. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, which is immediately noticeable with its orange dome and is the fourth largest cathedral in Europe from the outside. One of the most striking features of the cathedral is the bronze door known as the 'Gates of Paradise,' depicting stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran. Next, we will visit Giotto's Bell Tower, which was once used to invite the public to parliament, the Piazza della Signoria, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and home to Michelangelo's famous David statue, as well as the Ponte Vecchio, known for its antique and jewelry shops. After the Florence city tour, we head to our hotel in the Rome area. After arriving at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have some free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish can participate in the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop will be Nemi, known for its wild strawberries and hosting an annual strawberry festival. We will take a tour of Nemi, where the narrow streets leading to squares, enchanting lake and valley views blend with the scent of strawberries. Afterward, we embark on a historical journey through Rome, also known as "the city at the center of the world," characterized by its art, history, music, shopping, sun, and cuisine, and featuring buildings from ancient times to the Renaissance. As architects compete to showcase their works, Rome draws thousands of tourists each season, graciously accommodating even crowds with all its beauty and aesthetics. During our tour, we will explore the Colosseum, the Ancient Theater symbolizing the city that hosted gladiatorial fights, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain where it is believed that throwing a coin will ensure a return to Rome, the famous Spanish Steps with street performers, and panoramically observe Piazza Pietra and Piazza Popolo. After the tour, we provide free time at the Pantheon in Rome city center. During this free time, guests can participate in the optional Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euro). We begin our tour by seeing Castel Sant'Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Navona Square, and then visit Vatican / San Pietro, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity, which is the smallest country in the world by area. We will have free time in St. Peter's Square, where thousands of Catholics gather for worship and special occasions when the Pope greets the public from his seat, featuring the world’s largest cathedral, St. Peter's Basilica adorned with 140 statues of saints. After the free time, we start our exploration of the local neighborhoods, mingling with the people of Rome, experiencing the essence of Italy in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto regions with their cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, fruit shops, butchers, and many charming little shops. After our walking tour through the labyrinthine narrow back streets, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome area.
ROME – (Siena Tour) – BOLOGNA – VENICE
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to Bologna. Along the way, guests can join the optional Siena Tour (50 Euro). Siena is famous for its medieval narrow streets and alleys, as well as the Campo Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant exploration of the narrow and historic streets leading to Campo Square, we continue our journey to Bologna. Bologna, the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region, has historically been a center of education, culture, and gastronomy. Established in 1088, Bologna University is considered the oldest university in Europe. The city is also known as "La Rossa" (the Red City) due to its red-roofed buildings. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the heart of the city, Piazza Maggiore, the impressive architecture of San Petronio Basilica, the Renaissance masterpiece Neptune Fountain, the iconic Asinelli and Garisenda Towers, the historic Archiginnasio Palace, and the famous Portico di San Luca. We will also take a panoramic ride along Via Rizzoli and Via dell'Indipendenza, observing the daily life and architectural texture of the city. After the Bologna city tour, we move on to our hotel in the Venice area. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have some free time to rest.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour) – (Venice Colorful Islands & Gondola Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour (90 Euro – including Vaporetto and city entry fees). In Venice, our tour will start with major landmarks such as the San Marco Square made of stone and marble, San Marco Basilica, the Doge's Palace designed as a symbol of power and grandeur, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historic Campanille Bell Tower, followed by a pleasant walk through Venice’s streets interconnected by bridges and narrow canals. After the tour, guests participating in the Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour will have free time, and those interested can join the optional Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour (75 Euro). In this tour, we will have the chance to view the islands of Lido and Murano from the sea and visit Burano Island, known for its lace and famous as one of the world’s most colorful places. After the environmental tour and free time for shopping, we will return to Venice to experience the gondola ride, which has become the symbol of Venice, and complete our tour. After finishing the Venice Colorful Islands and Gondola Tour, we will head to the Outlet Design Center for the final part of the Venice Masterpieces and Outlet Tour. The Outlet Design Center is one of the most famous shopping centers that set the fashion trend in Italy, hosting stores of various renowned brands, many restaurants, and activity areas, where we will have pleasant and budget-friendly shopping time before returning to our hotel in the Venice area.
VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul at the time specified by our guide. Upon arrival at the airport, we will complete our baggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures before flying to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1218 at 1:30 PM. We arrive at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 6:00 PM local time, concluding our tour.
