1st DAY Istanbul - Bari (Matera Tour) At Istanbul Airport, we meet in front of the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal. After handling luggage and ticket procedures, we depart for Bari on a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Arrival in Bari at local time. We will start our **Bari city tour** accompanied by our private vehicle and guide. During the tour, we will visit Basilica Di San Nicola, the harbor, and Bari Cathedral. After the tour, we move to our hotel for check-in and free time. For those who wish, we will proceed with an **extra Matera (75€)** tour. We arrive in **Matera**, the European Capital of Culture for 2019, located in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In prehistoric times, this city was carved into cave and tuff rock on both sides of the Gravina canyon and is known as “Sassi di Matera,” which means the stones of Matera. Its status as an ancient city and its unique appearance have attracted the attention of Hollywood filmmakers. Notable films shot here include Pasolini’s “The Gospel According to St. Matthew,” Ferrara's “Mary,” Beresford's “King David,” Hardwicke's “The Nativity Story,” and Mel Gibson's “The Passion of the Christ.” It has also hosted films by Ferzan Özpetek. After our guided tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel. 2nd DAY Bari (Puglia Triangle Tour) After breakfast at the hotel, you have a free day ahead. Guests who wish can join the **extra** tour called **Puglia Triangle**, which includes **Alberobello & Castellana Grotte & Polignano a Mare (145€)**. First, we head to Alberobello. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, Alberobello will leave you with a fairy-tale effect due to its uniquely shaped white houses and roofs. The Trulli houses are built with stones stacked without mortar. Due to high taxes imposed by the king, the locals built their homes this way, demolishing the conical roofs when royal officials arrived for inspections by pulling a string inside. We will then continue our exploration at the world’s oldest cave system, Castellana Caves. It consists of limestone known as calcium carbonate and the cave system is 3348 meters long and reaches a depth of 122 meters. Our last stop is the coastal town of Polignano Amare. As we reach the beach through the narrow streets of the town, we will be greeted by high cliffs, white houses above them, and a deep blue bay. The city is a perfect blend of art, history, and natural beauty among ancient olive trees and will enchant you with its Baroque architecture. During our tour, we will visit places like the Palazzo Ducale, San Martino Church, and St. Anthony Church, which are among the highlights of the old town. Afterward, we head to Ostuni. Ostuni is a charming Italian town with a population of around 32,000, with its 8 km coastline, olive trees, and vineyards primarily relying on tourism. Throughout the tour, you will also see interesting details such as the Mediterranean-style white houses, narrow streets, arched passages, helix-shaped staircases, and much more. Our last stop will be to visit the historic city of Monopoli, one of the most beautiful cities in the Puglia region, situated on the Adriatic Sea. In this tour, you will have the chance to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand while also experiencing history and capturing postcard-like views in photography. We will start our tour in the beautiful Mediterranean town of **Sorrento**, perched atop cliffs. Together with your guide, you will explore the area and marvel at the lemon trees and the glittering sea. After visiting Sorrento, we will proceed to **Positano**. We will stop at a panoramic terrace to take pictures of this town, which is famous for its colorful houses and steep descent to the sea, where vehicle access is prohibited. Then, we will head to **Amalfi**. The town, named after a figure from Greek mythology, has played an important role as a port throughout history. The main attraction in the town is the Sant’Andrea Cathedral, which is located in Flavio Gioia Square, among the key places to explore. Guests can also enjoy a brief swim in the sea. After some free time, we will return to the hotel at the time specified by your guide. Overnight at our hotel. 6th DAY Amalfi Coast – Istanbul After breakfast and clearing your rooms, we will transfer to Naples Airport. We will fly to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight.
