1st Day ISTANBUL – CATANIA Meeting with our esteemed guests at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage and ticket processing, we will fly to Catania with Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. After our arrival, we will proceed to the city tour of Catania with our private bus. The places to be visited during the tour include the Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell’Elefante, Republic Square (Piazza Repubblica), and Etna Street. After the tour, there will be free time. Guests who wish can participate in the additional tour of Siracusa & Ortigia organized by our guide (55 Euros). During our tour to Siracusa, known as the city where the famous mathematician Archimedes lived, we will see attractions including the famous Aretusa Fountain, Siracusa Cathedral, Diana Fountain, Apollo Temple, and the Golden Castle. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2nd Day CATANIA After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can participate in an additional tour organized by our guide: Etna & Taormina & Savoca (90 Euros). In our tour, we will see Mount Etna, Europe’s only active volcano, and then continue to Taormina, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Sicily. After visiting the Roman-Greek style theater located at the foothills of Mount Tauro, you will have a chance for free time for shopping. After our free time, we proceed to Savoca. In this town, known for being one of the best film trilogies ever, The Godfather (Baba), you can enjoy coffee at the café where Al Pacino had coffee and spend your time in the streets where the film was shot. Transfer back to the hotel after the tour. Overnight at the hotel. 3rd Day CATANIA – PALERMO After breakfast, we will head to Palermo. Upon arrival, we will have a city tour of Palermo. The places to be visited during our tour include Cappella Palatina, San Giovanni Cathedral, Politeama Square, Norman Palace, Quattro Canti Square, Via Roma, and Via Libertà streets. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 4th Day PALERMO After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can participate in an additional tour organized by our guide of Erice & Monreale & Castellammare del Golfo (85 Euros). Our tour will start with visiting Erice, which is a typical medieval town with its walls, stone houses with courtyards, and streets. We will then head to Monreale, where the most important church in Sicily is located. During our city tour of Monreale, you will see the shopping avenue, Vittorio Emmanuel Square, and Monreale Cathedral. Our next stop will be Castellammare del Golfo, a small fishing town that has become one of the famous towns of the island. We will have a city tour where we will see the Aragonese castle and after that, we will give you some free time at the public beach. After the tour, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 5th Day PALERMO After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can participate in an additional tour organized by our guide to Cefalu (45 Euros). During our tour in the charming fishing village of Cefalu located on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea, we will see the 12th-century historical cathedral, the fishermen's gate, and spend time in the town's original streets. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel. 6th Day PALERMO – ISTANBUL After breakfast, transfer to Palermo Airport. Upon arrival, and after baggage and ticket processing, we will depart for Istanbul with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight. Arrival in Istanbul and the end of our tour.
