DAY 1 ISTANBUL – MILAN
We will meet at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport. After the baggage and ticket procedures, we will fly with a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. After arrival, we will move to Milan city center for a panoramic city tour with our private bus awaiting us at the airport. After arriving in Milan, we will begin our panoramic city tour. Among the places to be seen on our tour are the Milan Cathedral, the second largest church in Italy that took about 500 years to complete, the Fortress Castle, and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, home to the world’s most famous fashion shops. After the tour, we will have free time for shopping. In the evening, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 2 MILAN
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish can join our extra organized tour to McArthur Glen Serravalle Designer Outlet & Genoa (75€). Our first stop in Genoa will be the port area. Other places to see include the Luigi Ferraris Stadium where Sampdoria plays, Piazza de Ferrari, San Lorenzo Cathedral, and Torre Della Lanterna. After free time, we will head to Serravalle Outlet, the largest outlet in Italy. You will have the opportunity to find famous brands in this outlet with 230 stores. With the special discount tickets we provide, you will enjoy exclusive discounts at selected stores. After the free time for shopping, we will transfer to our hotel in Milan. Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 3 MILAN – ISTANBUL
After breakfast, free time (check-out from the hotel will be at 11:00). Guests who wish can join the extra organized tour Lake Como & Fox Town Outlet & Lugano (Switzerland) Lake Tour (85 Euro). In this tour, we will visit Lake Como, a glacial lake located in the Lombardy region, with its breathtaking scenery at the foot of the Alps. After that, you'll have the opportunity to shop at the outlet, where you can find world-famous brands. After the outlet visit, we will move to Lugano, one of the most charming and affluent lakeside towns in Switzerland, located at the foot of the Alps. After this nature marvel tour, we will transfer to Milan Airport, depending on our flight time. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we will depart for Istanbul with a scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Our tour and services will end upon arrival.
GENERAL TERMS
1- General Terms are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered independently from the tour program.
2- If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved; Wtatil can cancel the tour up to 21 days before the travel date. In such a case, the cancellation information will be communicated to the guest. The full amount of the tour fee will be refunded to the guest. For additional services purchased outside the tour; any domestic flight connections purchased from Wtatil will also be refunded to the guest, visa services, travel health insurance will not be refunded if a visa application has been made on behalf of the guest using the insurance as these services are considered utilized. If the guest has purchased the domestic flight connection from a different provider independent of Wtatil, they cannot demand any refund from Wtatil in case the trip is canceled by Wtatil. The guest accepts in advance any material and moral losses that may arise due to the cancellation of the tour when purchasing the tour, and Wtatil cannot be held responsible.
3- In case sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, Wtatil has the right to show good faith and not to cancel the tour. In this case, the guiding service included in the package will only cover the airport transfers for international arrival and departure.
Cancellation and Changes
4- Our guests have the right to cancel without penalties by notifying Wtatil in writing, up to 30 days before the departure date of the tour, except for airline tickets that have been paid for and/or committed to by Wtatil. If the trip date is less than 31 days away, the guest can cancel by paying a penalty equal to 50% of the remaining tour fee from the cost of the airline ticket, and in case of cancellation 15 days or less before the start of the trip, they can cancel by paying the full tour fee as a penalty. In the case of cancellation requests, the refund conditions for additional services such as domestic flight connections, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the cancellation request time, so it is necessary to inquire about the refund in advance. Wtatil cannot make any commitment regarding the refund of additional services.
Guiding Services and Extra Tours
5- The days and hours of the tours indicated in the program can be changed by the guide depending on the status of the museums and historical sites at the locations visited (open/closed) and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.
6- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are made as panoramic tours with guidance from the vehicle, not including entrance fees to museums and historical sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours may not take place in cases where local authorities do not allow visits, due to closed roads for any event, or if it becomes impossible to perform the tour due to weather conditions, including other tours specified in the program. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or walking at locations where closed roads or vehicle entry is not permitted.
7- Our guide may alter the days of the city tour and/or additional tours based on the content of our tours, the number of participants, and the status of the museum and historical sites being closed. This also applies to changes that may occur in flight times.
8- Important considerations for our tours conducted by Speed Boats include: do not eat heavy meals immediately before boarding and avoid excessive drinking of water. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints and pregnant guests must inform their guides of their conditions.
9- No refund will be provided for services included in the prices if participation in the mentioned tours or meal services is not realized.
About Flights
10- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in case of any disputes, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention, will be applied.
11- Delays or changes in flight times may occur in scheduled and special flights. Wtatil is obligated to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of changes/cancellation of flight times when purchasing the trip.
12- Children aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax.
13- According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of round-trip airline tickets is not used, the return flight is canceled by the airline.
14- Check-in and boarding procedures to be performed for those participating in tours that include flights are personal responsibilities and must be carried out by the guest at the airports before the flight, at the relevant airline counters or online on the airline’s websites.
15- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at the airports and shown on the information boards in the area. This information must be followed by the guests themselves.
16- Wtatil is not responsible for guests who are not present at the designated airport during the specified times in accordance with the airline rules for participation in the tour, do not check in and board in a timely manner, or those who check in and board on time but do not board the plane. All expenses related to obtaining new tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss their flight are their own responsibility.
17- The general luggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the luggage weight may be reduced to 15 kg on these domestic flights. Excess luggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.
18- For our guests who wish to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade processes can be carried out depending on the availability of the airline (please check the airline you are a member of) after the tickets are issued. There is no guarantee of mileage for every flight. Check whether the program tickets are of an upgradeable class.
19- Some airlines may charge extra for meal and online check-in services.
Other Matters
20- Wtatil will not accept any responsibility for changes or cancellation processes made by the guest directly communicating with the hotel. In this case, Wtatil's cancellation conditions will apply.
21- When the tour program indicates hotels without naming them, only category information is provided, and/or options are offered for the same destination, the guest will be informed by Wtatil 48 hours before the travel date.
22- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified locations or kilometers. In such a case, Wtatil will inform the guests 15 days prior to the travel date.
23- When registering for the purchased tour; the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport must be entered/declared correctly in the system by the guest. Airline tickets are issued according to this information. Penalties concerning any cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be reflected to the guests.
24- To use mobile phones abroad, please check with your service provider before leaving Turkey that your phone is activated for international use.
25- For accommodation, the hotel check-in time is 15:00, and the check-out time is 12:00.
26- Requests related to rooms (high floor, proximity to general areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Every effort is made for the reserved rooms to meet the guests' preferences according to the hotel's availability. The fulfillment of these requests depends on the availability at the time of check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.
27- The breakfast served in hotels differs from the rich breakfast traditionally expected in Turkish cuisine. It is generally served with limited options that include butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, often in a separate room designated for groups.
28- In some cases, double rooms may have a double bed instead of twin beds. Most European hotels offer rooms with 2 beds that can be joined when needed.
29- The policy for children's and extra beds can vary by hotel and room types.
30- All additional beds and baby cribs are provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability and require the hotel's approval.
31- The capacity for additional beds or baby cribs in the room is 1 (maximum).
32- Triple rooms have an application for additional beds, and the bed allocated to the 3rd person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 additional bed. Additional beds consist of foldable beds and beds known as couch beds. Our guests accept that there may be a lack of space and bed type due to the added beds in triple room and/or family reservations.
33- If the number of children staying with adults and their ages is incorrectly declared during hotel reservations, the relevant hotels may charge additional fees. In such a case, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. The hotel may request identification for age verification of children.
34- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed available for the child. Child prices only apply if the child stays with two adults. Child discounts are applicable for the "single child" meeting the age group staying with two adults.
35- Daily exchange rate fluctuations are reflected in the TL prices. The rates valid at the time of payment apply. Additional requests during your stay (mini bar, ironing, etc.) are subject to extra charges specified by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the purchase price and are paid directly to the hotel during your stay.
36- Some countries have different applications regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. All such city, tourism, or other taxes currently being applied will be collected from the guest by the hotel at the time of entry or exit.
37- The travel distances provided in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended under circumstances such as traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country visited, road works, and conditions.
38- Wtatil may change the order of the cities in the program without altering the content of the program or the main airline to be flown if deemed necessary or in compulsory situations.
39- Participants in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, luggage, passports/ID cards, and Wtatil is not responsible for lost/forgotten/stolen items. In the event that forgotten items are found, the expenses incurred in delivering them to the country and/or person are the responsibility of the item owner.
40- Participants in the tour are required to carry their travel health insurance policy and any relevant medications and reports related to their health issues.
41- For possible additional charges, the hotel may request a photo ID/passport issued by official authorities and a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in. The deposit requested at check-out is a matter between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no intervention in this.
Visa and Passport
42- There is no visa requirement for Turkish citizens.
43- Guests must have their passports valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel.
44- To be able to stamp the entry-exit seal on your passport at customs/border gates, there must be at least 2 blank pages available in your passport.
45- Being exempt from a visa for entry into the countries on this tour does not mean that entry/exit from the country is guaranteed; the immigration officer has the authority to deny you entry/exist from the country, and Wtatil is not responsible for this, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
46- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or who are dual citizens and will participate in the tour using their other country passport must personally inquire with the relevant consulates about visa procedures applicable to the country they will be traveling to; otherwise, Wtatil will not be held responsible for any consequences.
47- To avoid issues at border control due to torn, worn, wet, or otherwise damaged passports when visiting the countries; passports must be renewed. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the traveler.
48- Guests under the age of 18 traveling alone or with only one parent should be aware that a document showing mutual consent from both parents might be requested by the officers at the country entry/exit points; thus, it is advised for guests under 18 and their parents to be sensitive to this issue.
