ISTANBUL – ROME
After completing your baggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures 3 hours before departure at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal, we will fly to Rome with Pegasus Airlines’ scheduled flight PC1223 at 09:50. Upon our arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport at local time 10:30, we move to the city center with our private vehicle and organize a panoramic city tour of Rome. During our city tour upon arrival in Rome, we will see the following main sights: the Pyramid of Cestius, a 37-meter high pyramid covered in white marble in Egyptian style; Via Cristoforo Colombo, one of Rome's widest and longest boulevards; the magnificent Terme di Caracalla (Caracalla Baths); the Circus Maximus, Rome's largest hippodrome, now utilized for concerts and events; the Tiber Island, known for its healing tradition; and the colorful district of Trastevere, which carries the atmosphere of the Middle Ages to the present. After the city tour, we will have free time followed by our transfer to the hotel. Check-in, and free time to relax. ROME – (Rome Icons and Vatican Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Starting in the afternoon, guests who wish can join our optional Rome Icons and Vatican Tour (70 Euro). Our tour begins at Castel Sant’ Angelo – the Castle of the Angels and Piazza Navona, and it includes a visit to the Vatican / St. Peter’s, which is the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity and the smallest country in the world by area. At St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics gather for worship each year, we provide free time to visit the largest cathedral in the world, St. Peter's Cathedral, which features 140 statues of saints and where the Pope greets the public during special occasions. After the free time, we embark on a historic journey through the Rome Icons, showcasing art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and food, bringing you face to face with buildings of different styles from ancient times to the Renaissance. The architectural masterpieces that have attracted thousands of tourists every season to this imperial city, which has witnessed 23 centuries of history and shaped European Civilization, showcase the true beauty and elegance of Rome. Among the sights we will visit are the Colosseum, which became a symbol of the city and hosted gladiatorial battles during the Roman Empire; the Roman Forum, the ceremonial center during imperial times; the Trevi Fountain, where throwing a coin is believed to ensure a return to Rome; the Spanish Steps, famous for street performers; Piazza Pietra; and Piazza Popolo. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Florence Masterpieces and Siena Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we head to Pisa. On the way, guests who wish can join our optional Florence Masterpieces and Siena Tour (90 Euro). Our first stop is Siena, famous for its medieval narrow streets, small alleys, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. Following our enjoyable walk through the narrow and historic streets leading to Campo Square in Siena, we head towards Florence, our next visit point. In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and Pinocchio, we will first see the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, notable for its orange domes, which is the fourth largest church in Europe. One of the prominent features of the cathedral is the bronze doors known as the 'Gates of Paradise,' depicting stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran. Next, we will visit Giotto's Bell Tower, once used to call the public to parliament, the Piazza della Signoria, which has been the political and social hub of Florence for centuries and houses Michelangelo's famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), known for its antique and jewelry shops. After the Florence Masterpieces Tour, we continue our journey to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, we will embark on a tour that includes the Pisa Tower, cathedral, baptistery, and the Miracoli Square. After a short free time to take photos of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, we complete our tour and arrive at our hotel in the Florence area. Check-in and free time to relax.
FLORENCE – (Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour) – VENICE
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we head towards our hotel in the Venice region. Upon arrival, we will have free time for check-in. Guests who wish can join our optional Venice Masterpieces and Hidden Venice Walking Tour (80 Euro – "Vaporetto and city entrance fees included"). During our tour in Venice, we will see the iconic San Marco Square, built with stone and marble and whose columns were brought from Istanbul; St. Mark's Basilica; the Doge's Palace, designed as a symbol of splendor and power; the Clock Tower; the Bridge of Sighs; and the historic Campanile bell tower. We will then enjoy a pleasant walk through the streets of Venice, which are connected by bridges and extend along narrow canals. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Venice region.
VENICE – (Outlet Tour) – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, we head to Venice Marco Polo Airport for our return flight to Istanbul. On the way, guests who wish can participate in our optional Outlet Tour (30 Euro). We will have free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping at the Outlet Center, home to prestigious brands that shape global fashion, as well as cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas. After shopping, we continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our baggage check-in and other necessary procedures before boarding our Pegasus Airlines flight PC1236, departing at 13:45 to Istanbul. We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:10 Turkish Time, concluding our tour.
