1. DAY Istanbul - Bari (Matera Tour) Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After luggage and ticket procedures, we will depart for Bari by Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Arrival in Bari at local time. With our private vehicle and guide waiting for us, we begin our Bari city tour. During the tour, Basilica Di San Nicola, the port, and Bari Cathedral are among the places to be visited. After the tour, we will move to our hotel, check in, and have some free time. For those who wish, we will depart for an extra Matera (75€) tour. We will arrive in Matera, a designated 2019 European Capital of Culture, located in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as "Sassi di Matera," which means Matera's stones, this city was carved out of cave and tuff rocks on both sides of the Gravina canyon in prehistoric times. Being an ancient city, its living conditions and visual representation have drawn the attention of Hollywood filmmakers. Thus, films such as Pasolini's "The Gospel According to St. Matthew," Ferrara's "Mary," Beresford's "King David," Hardwicke's "The Nativity Story," and Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" were filmed here. It has also hosted Ferzan Özpetek’s films. After the tour with our guide, we will head back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 2. DAY Bari (Puglia Triangle Tour) After having breakfast at the hotel, a free day awaits you. Those who wish can participate in the extra tour known as the Puglia Triangle, which includes Alberobello & Castellana Grotte & Polignano a Mare (145€). We will first head to Alberobello. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, Alberobello will give you a fairytale effect with its uniquely shaped white houses and roofs. The Trulli houses are built with stones piled on top of each other without mortar. When property taxes were significantly raised during the King’s reign, people began building their houses in this way, so that when royal officials came for inspection, they could pull a rope inside the house to collapse the cone-shaped roof. We will continue our visit with the Castellana Caves, which are the world's oldest caves. Comprised of limestone known as calcium carbonate and rocks, the cave system has a length of 3348 meters and reaches a depth of 122 meters. Our final stop will be the coastal town of Polignano a Mare. Upon reaching the beach from the town's narrow streets, we will be greeted by steep cliffs, white houses, and a deep blue bay. After touring and taking a swim, we will return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 3. DAY Bari (Puglia Treasures Tour) After breakfast, there is a free day. Those who wish can join our guide for an extra Puglia Treasures (Martina Franca – Ostuni - Monopoli) tour (145€). If you enjoy discovering hidden and less-known yet rich and surprising places, Martina Franca is just for you. This city, a perfect blend of art, history, and natural beauty among ancient olive trees, will enchant you with its Baroque architecture. During our tour, we will visit the old city center’s building Palazzo Ducale, San Martino Church, and St. Anthony Church. Then we will move to Ostuni. With an 8 km coastline, Ostuni is a charming Italian town with a small population of 32,000, where tourism constitutes a large part of its income, along with olive and grape cultivation. During our visit, we will see many interesting details like the white traditional houses, narrow streets, arched passages, spiral staircases, and more. Our final stop will be the historical city of Monopoli, known as one of the most beautiful cities in the Puglia region located on the Adriatic Sea. During our visit, we will see the Piazza Settembre in the city’s historical center, the colorful fixed market, Monopoli Cathedral, and the Bell Tower. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 4. DAY Bari - Amalfi Coast – (Naples & Designer Outlet La Reggia Tour) After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to our hotel located in the Naples region. After arrival and hotel check-in, we will have free time for the rest of the day. Those who wish can join the extra half-day tour of Naples & Designer Outlet La Reggia (125€). In this tour, you will have shopping opportunities at Italy’s famous Designer Outlet chain Mc Arthur Glen La Reggia, where you can find various world and Italian brands (Armani, Moschino, Furla, Ralph Lauren, Boss, etc.) with discounts of up to 70%. For the remainder of the day, we will continue with a Naples tour. During the tour, we will see the Royal Palace built in the 16th century, Teatro di San Carlo, the famous Umberto 1 Gallery filled with cafes and shops, the Church of San Francesco Di Paolo inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, Plebiscito Square, and Angevins' Castle. After the tour, we will return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 5. DAY Amalfi Coast (Amalfi & Positano & Sorrento Tour) After breakfast at the hotel, a free day awaits you. Guests who wish can join the extra tour of Amalfi Coast & Sorrento (145€). In this tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand while also experiencing history and taking postcard-like photos. We will begin our tour in Sorrento, a beautiful town on the Mediterranean built on cliffs. With your guide, you will get to know the area and be amazed by its lemon trees and sparkling sea. After our visit, we will head to Positano. We will stop at a panoramic terrace for photos of this town, famous for its colorful houses and steep access to the sea, which prohibits car entry. Then we will proceed to Amalfi. Named after a figure in Greek mythology, the town has played an important role as a port throughout history. The most important site in the town is the Sant'Andrea Cathedral, located at Piazza Flavio Gioia, which can be visited. A short swimming break will be provided for those who wish. After free time, we will return to our hotel at the time set by the guide. Overnight at the hotel. 6. DAY Amalfi Coast – Istanbul After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we will transfer to Naples Airport. Departure to Istanbul with a scheduled flight by Turkish Airlines. Arrival in Istanbul at local time, and the end of our tour.
