Day 1: ISTANBUL AIRPORT - MILAN - SAVONA We will meet at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 in the morning, followed by a flight with Turkish Airlines flight TK1873, departing at 06:50 to Milan. We will arrive in Milan at 08:45 local time and transfer to the port of Savona where the COSTA SMERALDA ship will depart. After check-in and passport formalities, guests will settle into their cabins and have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 2: MARSEILLE (AIX EN PROVENCE) Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish can join the optional “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by our guide. We will start our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” located on a high hill. Following this visit, we will see some of the places including the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Afterwards, we will head to Aix en Provence which is 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will begin by visiting the famous 12th-century St. Saviour’s Cathedral with its Romanesque façade and covered arched walkway. During our pleasant walk in the old part of the city, we will see the ancient inns and the Mazarin district designed by Cardinal Mazarin's brother in the 17th century. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 3: BARCELONA Our ship will dock at the Barcelona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests wishing to do so can participate in the optional “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. We will visit La Rambla Street, the Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and port, Catalunya Square, Passeig de Gracia street which has become an outdoor museum thanks to Gaudi’s houses, and the most essential work, Sagrada Familia. During the tour, we will climb Montjuic hill for panoramic photos. After some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 4: IBIZA Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30 in the afternoon. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests wishing can get information from our guide and enjoy the stunning beaches of Ibiza, shop and dine. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 5: AT SEA This day will be spent at sea, and our ship will offer you many alternatives. Guests can enjoy the ship’s open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those interested can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment activities in the many bars. A variety of dining options will also be available throughout the day. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 6: PALERMO Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests wishing can join the optional “Palermo & Cefalu Tour” organized by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we will head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday towns in Sicily. The town, with its medieval structures, is a great place for both shopping and experiencing the essence of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the cathedral left by the Normans and the ancient laundry. After free time, we will return to Palermo for a city tour. We will also visit the Monreale Monastery and see the 6340 m2 mosaic decoration depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. We will then return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:30. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 7: CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the optional “Rome City Tour” organized by our guide. This full-day tour will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Rome from Civitavecchia Port, where our bus will be waiting for us. In Rome, we will take a panoramic tour with our bus, where we will see Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, and Circo Massimo. After that, we will explore Rome’s famous squares on foot. We will wrap up the tour at Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, followed by a shopping break. After the tour, we will return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship. Day 8: SAVONA - MILAN - ISTANBUL AIRPORT Our ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 in the morning. After breakfast, we will complete our disembarkation procedures and later disembark. We will then move with our private vehicle to Milan Airport, where we will arrive. After completing check-in and passport formalities, we will fly back to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1896, departing at 15:10. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 19:10 local time.
