Guided Services and Extra Tours

- The days and times of the tours specified in the program can be changed by the guide due to the closure/opening status of museums and historical sites at the places visited and weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during the tours.

- The panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of the cities and are guided and conducted panoramically within the vehicle, not including the entrance to museums or historical sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, along with other tours mentioned in the program, are not conducted if local authorities do not permit visits due to closures, blocked roads caused by any activities, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions; Wtatil is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transportation or on foot in places where vehicle access is restricted or blocked roads exist.

- Our guide is authorized to change the days of city tours and/or additional tours based on the content of our tours, depending on participant numbers, and the closed status of the museum or site. This condition also applies to changes that may occur in flight times.

- Attention must be paid to the following details for tours conducted by Speed Boats: heavy meals should not be consumed immediately before boarding, and excessive water intake should be avoided. Guests with stomach, back, neck complaints, or pregnant guests should report their conditions to their guides.

- If participation is not provided for the services mentioned in the prices like tours or meals, there will be no refunds.

About Flights

- Wtatil acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger, and in the event of a dispute, the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, as well as the Hague Protocol and the Warsaw Convention will apply.

- There may be delays or changes in flight times for scheduled and special flights. Wtatil is obligated to inform about these changes as soon as possible. The passenger agrees to the risk of changes/cancellations of flight times upon purchasing the trip.

- Infants aged 0-2 only pay the airport tax fee.

- According to the rules of airlines; if the outbound flight of round-trip tickets is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.

- For participants on flights arranged by Wtatil, check-in and boarding processes are personal responsibilities, and these processes must be carried out by the guest at the airports, through the airline counters, or online on the airline’s website before the flight.

- Last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at the airports and displayed on information boards at the area. This information must be followed directly by the guests.

- Guests who are not present at the specified airport during the hours reported according to airline rules, who do not perform check-in and boarding processes on time, or who perform these processes on time but do not board the plane will not hold Wtatil accountable for not being able to fly. Any expenses related to obtaining new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss the flight are their responsibility.

- The general luggage allowance for departing flights from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary according to the airline and destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, this luggage weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Wtatil.

- For guests wishing to upgrade their tickets with miles (to business or first class); upgrade transactions can be performed after the tickets are issued depending on the availability of the airline (check with the airline you have a membership with). There is no guarantee of mileage for each flight. Check if the tickets in the program are from a class that can be upgraded.

- Some airlines may charge extra fees for meal service and online check-in.

Other Matters

- Wtatil will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by the guest by contacting the hotel. In this case, Wtatil's cancellation conditions will apply.

- When the tour program specifies hotels only by category information without naming the hotels and/or provides options for the same destination, the hotels will be notified to the guest by Wtatil 48 hours before the departure of the trip.

- During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, and sports tournaments, hotels may be located farther away than the specified locations or kilometers. In such cases, Wtatil will inform the guest 15 days before the departure date of the tour.

- When registering for the purchased tour, it is necessary for the guest to enter/declare the name as stated in the passport, date of birth, and passport number correctly in the system. Flight tickets are issued based on this information. Any penalty for ticket cancellation or changes due to incorrect information will be charged to the guests.

- To use your mobile phones abroad, please check before departing from Turkey whether your phone is open for international use by contacting the company to which your line belongs.

- The hotel check-in time is 15:00 and the check-out time is 12:00.

- Requests regarding the room (high floor, near common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) are communicated to the hotel by Wtatil. Care is taken to ensure that the reserved rooms meet the preferences of the guests according to the hotel's availability. The realization of these requests depends on availability at the time of checking in and cannot be guaranteed by Wtatil.

- Breakfast offered in hotels differs from the rich Turkish breakfast traditionally; it is usually served as a continental breakfast consisting of limited options like butter, jam, bread, and tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall assigned to the group.

- In some cases, there may be a double bed instead of two separate beds. Most European hotels offer twin rooms that can be combined if necessary.

- The child and extra bed policy may vary by hotel and room types.

- Any additional bed and baby cot will be provided upon request and subject to the hotel's availability and must be approved by the hotel.

- The capacity of additional beds or baby cots in the room is one (maximum).

- In triple rooms, there is an application for extra beds; the bed allocated for the third person in this type of room is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds consist of beds termed as pull-out or coach beds. Our guests acknowledge that they accept the potential cramped conditions in the rooms due to additional beds added to standard rooms, especially in reservations with children.

- In hotel reservations, if the number of children to be accommodated with accompanying adults and their ages are incorrectly declared by our guests, the related hotels may charge extra fees. In such circumstances, the responsibility lies with the guest who made the incorrect declaration. Hotels may request identification to ascertain the ages of children.

- In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be an additional bed for the child. Child prices apply only if the child is hosted alongside two adults. Child discounts are applicable only for "one child" within the age group staying alongside two adults.

- The exchange rate during the day will be reflected in the TL prices. The exchange rates valid at the time of payment apply. Additional requests, certain extra services you will receive at the hotel (minibar, ironing, etc.) are subject to additional charges by the hotel. These expenses are not included in the fee at the time of purchase and will be paid directly to the hotel during your stay.

- Some countries have different practices regarding city, tourism, or local taxes. All kinds of city, tourism or other taxes applied in this manner are collected from the guest by the hotel during entry or exit.

- The road distances given in the programs are based on maps. Travel times may be extended due to traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the visited country, road work and conditions.

- Wtatil reserves the right to change the order of the cities in the program and the main airline to be flown according to its discretion in case of compulsory situations or when necessary, without changing the content of the program.

- Guests participating in the tour are responsible for their personal belongings, bags, suitcases, passports/identities, and Wtatil is not responsible for forgotten/lost/stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are returned, the costs incurred in delivering them to the country and/or individual will be borne by the item owner.

- It is mandatory for participants in the tour to carry their travel health insurance policies and any related medications and documents for any health issues with them.

- For possible extra expenses, the hotel may request a cash deposit or credit card deposit accompanied by a photo ID/passport issued by official institutions upon check-in. The return of the requested deposit during check-out is a transaction between the hotel and the guest, and Wtatil has no involvement in this matter.

Visa and Passport

- There is no visa requirement for T.C. citizens.

- Guests must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel.

- To have an entry-exit stamp on your passport at customs/border crossings, there must be at least 2 blank pages in your passport.

- Being exempt from a visa to enter the countries on this tour does not guarantee entry/exits, as border police have the authority to deny entry; Wtatil is not responsible for this situation, and the responsibility lies with the passenger.

- Guests who are not Turkish citizens or those with dual citizenship using a passport from another country to participate in the tour should consult relevant consular offices regarding visa procedures for the country they will be traveling to; otherwise, Wtatil will not be responsible for any resulting consequences.

- To avoid issues with customs police at country borders due to torn, worn, wet, or similarly damaged passports; it is necessary to renew passports. Otherwise, the responsibility lies with the passenger.
