Bus Tour to Xanthi Carnival, Thessaloniki 1 Night 3 Days

1st Day | Istanbul – Thessaloniki At 21:00 we depart from Kadıköy Marriage Office, at 21:30 from Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe front, at 22:00 from in front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, at 22:30 from in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park AVM, and at 22:59 from in front of Silivri Vega AVM and set off on our journey. (You must be at the specified locations at least 15 minutes before the departure times.) After approximately 3 hours of travel, we arrive at the İpsala border gate, complete customs and passport procedures, then cross into Greece and travel to Thessaloniki via Alexandroupolis, Komotini, Xanthi, and Kavala. 2nd Day | Thessaloniki In the morning, upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we begin our panoramic city tour. We visit the Church of St. Demetrios, the largest church in Greece, and the house where the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the great leader Atatürk, was born and lived. We also see the Church of Hagia Sophia, the Ottoman Bath, the Ottoman Mosque, the Bedesten, the White Tower, the Rotunda, and the International Fair grounds. We take a walk along the waterfront promenade, famous for its cafés and shops, and give free time until 14:30. After checking into our hotel, free time follows. Guests who wish may join the Thessaloniki Mega Center & Jumbo Store Shopping Tour, featuring many famous brands, at 15:30. (€20) Guests who wish may also join the Panoramic Thessaloniki Masterpieces Night Tour at 20:00, where they can see the places visited during the day under the lights and enjoy Thessaloniki’s lively nightlife in the city center. (€20) In addition, guests may participate in the lively, music-filled Taverna & Sirtaki program. (€65 / Fixed Menu – Limited Drinks) For both programs, the return to the hotel is from Aristotelous Square at 23:59. Overnight at our hotel in Thessaloniki. 3rd Day | Xanthi Carnival – Istanbul After breakfast, we depart for Xanthi (İskeçe). In Xanthi, an important settlement where the Turkish community of Western Thrace lives, we provide free time until 21:00 to enjoy the excitement of the Xanthi Carnival and have fun. At 16:00, after the carnival ends, guests who wish may join the optional After Party & Taverna organization. (€75 / Includes After Party entrance fee + 1 drink, fixed-menu dinner at the taverna + 1 drink.) Guests joining this event will meet at 16:00, enjoy the After Party until 18:00, and then have a pleasant and delicious meal at a Greek tavern. After dinner, we head toward the İpsala border gate. During customs and passport procedures, there is an opportunity to shop at the Greek duty-free store. Arrival in Istanbul via İpsala, Keşan, and Tekirdağ, and the end of our tour.
