Bus Tour to Thassos 3 Nights 5 Days

Day 1 | ISTANBUL-THASOS ISLAND

We depart at 22:00 from Kadıköy Marriage Office, at 22:30 from in front of Mecidiyeköy Square/Bambi Cafe, at 23:00 from in front of İncirli Ömür Plaza, at 23:30 from in front of Beylikdüzü Marmara Park Shopping Mall, and at 23:59 from in front of Silivri Vega Shopping Mall. (You must be at the specified locations no later than 15 minutes before the departure times.) After approximately a 3-hour journey, upon arriving at the İpsala border gate, we complete customs and passport procedures, then cross into Greece and travel to Keramoti via Alexandroupolis (Dedeağaç), Komotini (Gümülcine), and Xanthi (İskeçe).

Day 2 | THASSOS ISLAND

In the early morning, we take the ferry from Keramoti to Thassos Island. In Limenas center, until the hotel check-in time announced by our guide, free time is provided to enjoy the town, sea, sand, and sun. Guests who wish may make use of the beaches in the center. In the afternoon at 15:00, we check in to our hotel and rest. Afterwards, guests who wish may join the Traditional Greek Taverna night with live music at 20:30 as an extra. (75.-€/ Fixed Menu – Limited Drinks) Guests who wish may make use of the free Limenas shuttle service. Overnight in Thassos 

Day 3 | THASSOS ISLAND

Free time in the morning to enjoy the beach. Guests who wish may join the Island Tour (Potos & Pissili Ammos Beach & Giola & Aliki Beach & Panagia Village), which starts at 09:00, by paying an additional fee. (75.-€) On this tour, we first see the island’s modest villages and travel to Potos, the most popular tourist area of Thassos Island. After a short walk through the town, we provide a short period of free time for shopping and leisure. Then we go to the island’s finest beach, Pissili Ammos Beach, and enjoy the sea, sand, and sun. (Sun lounger-Umbrella-Coffee included!) (During the peak season, there may be a short wait for sun loungers and umbrellas, but beach enjoyment begins immediately using the general areas!) At 14:30, we drop off guests who wish to see Giola (the Eye of Zeus/Hollow Rock), one of the most important symbols of Thassos Island, at the starting point of the walking trail. (A walking trail of approximately 30 minutes is required for Giola. Please do not forget to bring suitable shoes!) At 16:00, we leave Pissili Ammos and meet the guests who visited Giola at 16:15, then see the Archangelos Monastery along the way. (If the monastery is open, we enter and visit it!) Afterwards, we take a 1-hour swimming and exploration break at the Ancient City of Aliki. The final stop of our tour is Panagia Village, the most unspoiled village and holiest settlement on Thassos Island. Here, after walking among traditional Greek village houses and seeing the Panagia Church, we visit the traditional olive oil factory and museum in this region, famous for its olives. During our break in the village, those who wish may sip coffee at the café in the village square, while others may try the delicacies (Lamb/Kid/Kokoretsi) at the island’s most famous taverna. After the break, having seen the island’s surroundings in full, we return to our hotel at 20:30. Overnight in Thassos 

Day 4 | THASSOS ISLAND

Free time in the morning to enjoy the beach. Guests who wish may pay an additional fee to visit the unspoiled Marble Beach, the symbol of Thassos Island, and enjoy a full day of sea, sand, and sun. (60.-€) (Sun lounger-Umbrella-Lunch {Club Sandwich or Caesar Salad}-Soft Drink included!) Those who wish may pay an additional fee to join the Private Sailing Boat tour and, between 9:00 and 16:00, see the unique eastern shores of Thassos Island from a private sailing boat and swim in unspoiled bays (Hotel-port transfers are included in this tour.) (75.-€) In the evening, guests who wish may make use of the free Limenas shuttle service. Overnight in Thassos 

Day 5 | THASSOS ISLAND – ISTANBUL

After breakfast, we depart for Istanbul at 11:00, take the 11:30 ferry to Keramoti, and, after a short break at the Kavala Cookie factory, arrive at the Kipi border gate after approximately a 2.5-hour journey. Following passport, customs, and Freeshop shopping, we cross over the Maritsa River and, after completing passport and customs procedures at the İpsala Turkish Border Gate, follow the İpsala, Keşan, and Tekirdağ route to Istanbul. We drop you off at the locations where we picked you up at the beginning of the tour and conclude our tour.
