Day 1: Istanbul-Bergamo-Milan
Meeting with our valued guests at 08:00 in front of the AJet counter at Sabiha Gökçen International Departures Terminal. Departure to Bergamo at 11:05 with scheduled Ajet flight VF61. Upon arrival at 12:10, we travel to Milan. With our arrival in Milan, we proceed for our city tour. Rather than being striking, Milan is an elegant city; rather than being creative, it is a wealthy city. Without a doubt, it is the lifeblood of the Italian economy and one of Italy’s most worth-seeing cities. During our Milan city tour, we will see the Milan Castle ‘Castello Sforzesco’, one of the city’s historical monuments; the ‘Galleria’, which marked the 19th-century industrial revolution and is also known as Europe’s first covered shopping arcade. Famous French engineer Gustave Eiffel was inspired by this place for the construction of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Duomo, where Gothic art can be seen extensively, is the fourth largest church in the world with an exterior made up of more than 2,000 statues. On the streets of ‘Via Monte Napoleone’ and ‘Via La Spiga’, known as the center of fashion, you can see the richness of the shop windows. After free time, our guests who wish may join our Como Lake and Town tour. After our tour, we depart for our hotel for overnight stay at our Milan hotel.
Extra Tour: Como Lake and Town Tour Per Person 40 Euro
Located about 1.5 hours from Milan, Lake Como stands out with its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere as a delightful region. On this tour, we reach Como town, take a short walk accompanied by our guide, and then give our guests free time for shopping and exploring.
Day 2: Milan – Verona & Garda - Venice
After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona & Lake Garda Tour, which will take place en route. After our tour, we continue to Venice. From the Tronchetto port, the last transportation point for vehicles, we take a vaporetto to the historic island. After an enjoyable vaporetto ride, we get off near San Marco Square, the historic center of the city, and begin our tour among the canals. Here, where motor vehicles are absent and all the vehicles we are used to seeing in daily life—such as police cars, ambulances, garbage trucks, municipal buses, etc.—have given way to boats. While walking from the Slave’s Quay to San Marco Square, you can see the Venice prison and the “Ponte dei Sospiri” (Bridge of Sighs), which connects the prison and the Doge’s Palace, San Giorgio Island directly opposite the bridge, the twin columns on the main façade square of the Doge’s Palace, called the city’s entrance gate, and the statues on top of these columns, which are the symbols of Venice. The square where St. Mark’s Basilica is located was called “the most beautiful square in the world” by Napoleon. Although the basilica’s construction was completed in the 9th century, it took until the 17th century to reach its present form. The 4 bronze horses you will see on its main façade were brought from Istanbul after the Second Crusade. During your free time, you can watch the statues atop the clock tower strike the bell every hour, and by climbing the bell tower you can also enjoy a panoramic view of all Venice. In addition, guests who wish may join the extra Burano Island Tour. After our tour, free time. Then transfer to our hotel, room distribution, and overnight stay at our Venice hotel.
Extra Tour: Verona & Garda Tour Per Person: 50 Euro
We see the governing palace of the Verona Duchy, which remained under the Venetian Republic for centuries, Erbe Square, which is still used as a market place today just as it was historically, and Italy’s second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum in Rome. Passing through Verona shopping centers, whose streets were paved with marble to display wealth, we see the palace where Dante Alighieri lived during his exile. After seeing the Scaligero tombs of the family that ruled Verona, we panoramically view the house where Romeo and Juliet, which inspired the English dramatist William Shakespeare, were born. After a short free time, we head to Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake.
In Garda, which fascinates with its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and lake view, you can walk along the lakeside, photograph unique landscapes, and enjoy the cool breeze. After free time, we return to our bus and complete our tour.
Extra Tour: Burano Island Tour Per Person: 35 Euro
Burano Island, the most colorful corner of the Venice Lagoon, has a fascinating atmosphere with its colorful houses and peaceful streets. On the island, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts, after a short walk with our guide, we give our guests free time. You can browse Burano’s famous handmade lace, stroll among the island’s pastel-colored houses, and take a coffee break by the lake. With its silence, simplicity, and fairytale-like appearance, Burano will add a calm yet unforgettable memory to your Venice trip.
