Notable places to see include Castel Sant'Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Popolo Square, Republic Square, Via Nazionale, Marcello Theater, and Circus Maximus. Afterward, you can explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Recommended places to see include Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. For those who do not wish to leave Civitavecchia, there are other options available. The city's name means "old town" in Latin.
